Retail brands use Storemapper to centralize all locations into a clean, searchable map that customers can explore by city, zip code, or current location. You can manage hours, contact info, custom fields, and store types in one dashboard. Whether you have 10 stores or 1,000, Storemapper keeps your locator fast, accurate, and always up to date.

Yes. Clinics, therapy centers, medical suppliers, and wellness providers use Storemapper to help patients quickly find the closest location for services or product pickups. You can add filters for specialties, service types, accessibility, appointment availability, or provider categories, making it easy for patients to find exactly what they need.

Food and beverage companies use Storemapper to show where customers can buy their products at grocery stores, supermarkets, cafés, bars, or partner distributors. You can tag stores by product availability (e.g., sparkling only, kombucha on tap, rotating flavors), highlight featured retailers, and help shoppers discover your brand locally.

E-commerce brands use Storemapper to bridge the gap between online and offline shopping. You can show customers exactly where your products are stocked in retail stores, boutiques, or partner locations. Storemapper supports unlimited locations, filters, and real-time updates, making it easy for shoppers to find the closest in-store option. This reduces customer support questions like “Where can I buy this?” and increases retail sell-through.

Yes. Storemapper fully supports Google Business Profile syncing. You can connect your Google account and automatically import all your locations into Storemapper, including names, addresses, hours, and other key details. Once connected, Storemapper keeps your locations updated and in sync, reducing manual work and ensuring your map always reflects the latest information. This is especially helpful for businesses with multiple storefronts or frequent updates.

Storemapper uses the Google Maps Platform to power map loading, geolocation, and search. To activate Google Maps on your locator, you need to generate your own Google Maps API key and add it to your Storemapper account. The setup includes:

  1. Signing into your Google account

  2. Creating a Google Maps project

  3. Enabling the required APIs (Maps JavaScript API, Places API, Geocoding API)

  4. Setting billing (Google provides recurring $200 monthly credits, which covers usage for almost all Storemapper customers). Note: Make sure you set up the billing for the correct project.
  5. Adding domain restrictions and API restrictions

  6. Pasting your API key inside Storemapper under:

Dashboard → Settings → Map Provider → Google Maps API Key

Once added, your store locator will immediately start using Google Maps.

If you choose Mapbox as your map provider instead of Google Maps, you’ll need to add a Mapbox access token to your Storemapper account. The setup is quick and only requires a few steps:

  1. Create or log into your Mapbox account

Visit https://account.mapbox.com and sign in or create a free account.

  2. Copy your default public token

Once logged in, Mapbox redirects you to your dashboard, where your default public token appears. We recommend using this token without adding extra restrictions.

  3. Add the token to Storemapper

    Paste the token into:

Storemapper Dashboard → Settings → Map Provider → Mapbox access token

After you save your settings, Storemapper will immediately begin using Mapbox as your map provider.
